Croydon’s game against Sutton saw club captain Sophie Reid play in her 100th game for the Trams, the first Croydon player to reach the milestone since the club reformed in 2019.

100 up for Sophie Reid

Ever-present in the backline, skipper Sophie joined Croydon in 2021. In her first season, she led the club to a league title, following an unbeaten league run, and promotion to the South East Counties Surrey Premier Division.

A strong defender, Sophie has also shown her attacking potential, scoring several goals for the club, often from long range efforts. In the Trams’ return to the FA cup in 2023, she scored the winning penalty to take Croydon through to the second qualifying round. She also led the team to their first cup final in 2025, as they took on Carshalton in the Surrey Divisional Cup Final.
